What Makes Peachy Pets Different?
We’re Your Neighbors!
We are long-time Parker County residents… over 26 years! We understand that here is where the West really begins! We know what a great place this is to live and we want to keep it that way. Our desire is to serve you and your pets, because not only are we your neighbor, but you are ours!
Boarding at Peachy Pets
At Peachy Pets we know that your pet loves to play and be given special attention. As such, we believe in maximizing their time out of the crate or kennel and giving them lots of time to play fetch, run with other pets, or just sit and be loved on. If you board your dog with us, we will give them lots of outside or play-room time to do just that. We are also very aware, that just like people, pets all have unique personalities. Some love to play with their furry friends, while others like to just sit and chill. The first time they are with us we will assess both their interactions with us and with the other pets and will adjust our care for them accordingly. Even though many pets love to play with one another, dogs are still pack animals by nature, and thus large groups can quickly get out of hand; because of this, we will minimize groups to only 2 to 4 during play time.
When you’re on vacation, the last thing you want to do when you get back, is wash a dirty dog. This is why, if your pet stays with us for three days or more, they will get a free bath before you pick them up! We also will send you photos of your dog each day or so while they are staying with us so you can feel comfortable they are having a great time! See some samples photos in our Gallery.
Crate / Kennel Training
We will make sure your pet has lots of play time, but we also believe that crate or kennel training is an important part of pet care. We believe a comfortable crate or kennel is the safest place for your pet to be when they’re sleeping, resting, or when we can’t be with them. As a result, please know that your pet will be most comfortable with us if they are already comfortable in a kennel or crate at home. At Peachy Pets we use properly-sized, metal-frame crates like those seen here.
Pet and Farm Animal Home Care
If you would like us to come take care of your pet or farm animals at your property, we would be glad to do that. In addition to dogs, we’ve taken care of cats, horses, and birds — and we’re open to any other type of animal! Contact us to discuss what we might do for you! We can feed, walk, and play with or love on your pets for short visits during the day. For farm animals we can let them out in the morning and back-in in the evening. We will feed and water them and clean out their stalls. Pricing is dependent on number of trips, type of tasks required, length of stay, number and type of animals, and distance from our facility to yours.
Dog Grooming
At Peachy Pets we do basic dog grooming — which we’ve found is all that most pet owners want. If you’re unsure if we could take care of your pet, give us a call and we’d be happy to talk with you about our grooming services. We will give baths, trim your pet to your specifications, cut their nails, clean their ears, and perform an anal gland express upon request. We also know that the best way to make grooming a comfortable experience for your pet is to keep your dog well-brushed at home. This makes our job easier (i.e.; less expensive for you!) and will help your dog be the most comfortable during the grooming session. That being said, we know that sometimes dogs fur can just get a little tangled, so we are happy to help you with that too!
Pricing
Another basic truth we understand is that, even though you want the best care for your pet, you also want a reasonable price. As such, we strive to keep our costs down and work to pass on the lowest rates to you. Our basic pricing is listed here on our website. Please know that based on your pets individual circumstances we may need to adjust this basic pricing, but we will let you know that beforehand.
Vaccination Policy
In order to board your dog at Peachy Pets facility they must be vaccinated for Rabies and we strongly prefer/recommend that they also are vaccinated for Bordetella (Kennel Cough) and Canine Influenza. If you have electronic documentation of your pets' vaccinations, please upload those via our Forms & Uploads page.
